How much does a Corporate Video cost to make?
As you can imagine, this is a highly subjective question. Essentially, the cost of a Corporate Film is connected to the estimated time involved in scripting, the number of days of shoot required, the number of consultants required and the number of the locations the shoot is spread across. What we pride ourselves in, is optimising a film to shoot to fit within a budget and maximising the amount of bang you can get for your buck.
The best thing to do is to give us a call. We’ll understand your budget and give you the best production strategy for that budget.
DO you only produce films in Toronto?
No, we are not limited by any jurisdiction. We generally shoot films and videos all across the Greater Toronto Area; we shoot in Mississauga, Hamilton, Brampton, Etobicoke, Oshawa and often travel across Ontario for shoots. If one of your locations require travel that exceeds a 250 km radius of Toronto city, we then charge for travel and accomodation (if necessary) at actuals.
How long does it take to complete a Corporate Video?
This is entirely dependent on your responsiveness, on-boarding process and decisive decision taking. If the decision makers in your company are involved from day one and communication channels are efficient; a typical Corporate Video can be completed from start to finish in a month’s time.
Will you write the script or should we have a script ready?
We are storytellers first, then filmmakers. We always prefer generating our own scripts so that we can bring our years of experience to your aid in telling your story. What you should do is spend time asking yourself “why do I need this film?” and “who do I need to tell this story to?”. Answering these two questions will help us craft your story in the most ideal manner.
Does a 2 minute long film cost less than a 5 min long film?
On the contrary; it is far more difficult to tell a corporate story in a short time frame. Editing a film into a short span of time is more work for us than stretching it out. So actually, it is very possible for a 2 minute film to cost far more than a 4 minute film. The duration of a film has little to do with its cost. Cost is largely affected by the nature of the story being told rather than its duration. Ideally we try our best to keep a Corporate Video short so that attention spans of potential viewers are not breached.
